GamePlay Music Project

Scope and Content Note
This collection includes approximately 385 audio files and supporting documents from various composers. The audio was created for GamePlay, a project sponsored by George Sanger (The Fat Man) and Team Fat in 1999. GamePlay Music was envisioned as a searchable database of audio from a variety of composers, sponsored and organized by Team Fat. The project was created to provide composers with an ability to market their music and for game developers to have a database from which they could search for music for projects. GamePlay never went completely live, but Team Fat received many submissions from over 50 composers. This collection documents the audio that was submitted for the project and now part of the Video Game Archive.
