Abstract: The goal of this tutorial is to teach incoming School of Information students how best to use their School of Information accounts. Every School of Information student receives his or her own account, which includes an email address (your_user_name@ischool.utexas.edu) with 100 MB of space and 150 MB of server space (http://www.ischool.utexas.edu/~your_user_name). Many students sign up for this account, yet never fully utilize all of its features. It is incredibly likely, however, that one of your professors will request that you send emails from your School of Information email account, or that you post a paper online using your School of Information server space. So you mgiht as well learn how to use your account now!
