The Warren Spector Email Project was part of two projects to document the design and documentation process of an iconic video game developer based in Austin, Texas. The email collection numbers over 56,000 emails and approximately 6,400 attachments. It supplements a substantial paper collection and other digital documents, which were processed separately from the Email Collection.
As part of the Email Collection Project Documentation, there is the SIP Agreement, the Final Report, the Inventory of Email Attachments and Formats, and the presentation prepared for the Society of Southwest Archivists Conference, 2009. This project was carried out by Stephanie Beene, Emily Vinson, and Blair Smith, with the help of Zach Vowell, Digital Archivist at the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History and Dr. Patricia Galloway at the University of Texas at Austin.
