So far, you¡¦ve defined the content attributes of your Web page. If you want to define the hyperlinks on your page, you need click on ¡§New Style¡¨ icon again, and make sure you select the ¡§Use CSS Selector¡¨. You will see the different CSS selectors and your .css file name appeared as default. You can choose ¡§a:link¡¨ to define the hyperlink in your .css file, ¡§a:visited¡¨ to define the visited link effect, and ¡§a:hover¡¨ to define the mouse over effect, and so on. When you click on ¡§a:link¡¨ to define the link attributes, you¡¦ll see this window will open. Then you can define font for your hyperlink, font size, and color. Then click OK. Now you can see the color of your hyperlink has been change to what red color. If you want to define the mouse over effect, you need click on ¡§New Style¡¨ icon again and choose ¡§a:hover¡¨. Click OK. Select appropriate attributes for your mouse over effect. Click OK. If you want to preview in a browser to see how mouse over effect looks like, you need go to file>preview in browser. Then you¡¦ll see the color of your hyperlink has been changed.
To apply your Cascading Style Sheets to other pages or the new page you
just created, you need open the page and click on ¡§Attach New CSS Style¡¨ in
this dialog window or you can go to Text > CSS Styles > Attach Style
Sheet. Click ¡§browser¡¨ to find your .css file. Now you¡¦ve attached the .css
file to this new page. To apply .css file to this page, you need highlight
the content on the page and go to Text again >CSS Styles, and click you
.css file name. Now you see the color and the font of your Web page have been
changed to what you defined in the .css file. When you upload your Web pages
to the server, remember to upload your .css file to the server as well. Otherwise,
your Cascading Style Sheets will not be found and applied to your Web pages.
