About IT Services Short Courses

IT Services offers free classes on various computer technology topics for School of Information students, faculty, and staff. Subjects range from operating systems like Unix to instruction in basic HTML and specific applications such as Macromedia Dreamweaver and Microsoft Powerpoint. Short courses are offered in the IT Lab Annex, 451 Sanchez.

Spring 2006 Course Schedule

The short course schedule for the 2006 Spring session is below; short courses are also offered on an as needed/requested basis, either one-on-one or for small groups. Interested in a short course? Send an email to IT Lab Staff Member Darby Tober with the name of your desired course and time availability. She will arrange for a purpleshirt to meet with you. We also offer Short Courses online in the Tutorials section of this website. Other online tutorials offered by the University of Texas are available at General Libraries, ITS, and Team Web.
